Getting Started

So, now that you have an email account, how do you set it up? You will need certain pieces of information before getting started.

Information about the email servers
Type of email server IMAP
Name of incoming email server mail.strateja.com
Name of outgoing email server mail.strateja.com
Information about your account
Account or User Name Generally, your account or user name is that part of your email address preceding the @ sign. For example, if your email address is jsmith@yourdomainname.com, your account or user name may be jsmith. It is possible to have an account name that is different than the first part of your email address, for example if more than one jsmith exists we may have assigned you jsmith2. Some email applications refer to an account while others refer to user name or user id, these are all the same thing with different names. Follow the instructions for your particular email application.
Password Use password provided you.
Authentication Requirements. Authentication is required. Follow the instructions for your particular email application.  Note: We do not use Secure Password Authentication (SPA). If you check this option, you will not be able to connect to the mail server.

Each email application account set-up is different. Choose from the list on the left and follow the set-by-step instructions provided.
